On Wednesday, 12th November, Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Service’s (MAWWFRS) Business Fire Safety (BFS) team gathered for a day of training, development and recognition.

The team were delighted to welcome Antony Gardner, Crown Premises Fire Safety Inspector for Wales to the training. Antony shared some valuable insights into the role of the Crown Premises Inspector (Wales).

The training day provided a valuable opportunity to enhance departmental skills while also recognising and celebrating individual professional development within the team.

Group Manager David Latham was pleased to present Station Manager Peter Phillips, Station Manager Neil Stephens and Watch Manager Lee Hopkins with certificates for successfully achieving qualifications in a variety of Business Fire Safety courses.

Thank you to all the speakers and staff that attended and made it a positive and enjoyable day.
