On Saturday, September 28th, Firefighters from Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Service’s Haverfordwest Fire Station were called to an incident on the River Cleddau near Quay Street.
Following a request for assistance from the RSPCA, the crew responded to two ducks that had become tangled in a fishing line in the river and were in distress.
After donning their wading gear, Firefighters were able to catch the ducks in a net and release them from the fishing line before putting them in the care of the RSPCA.
