At 10.06pm on Monday, December 9th, Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Service crews from Llanelli, Tumble, Morriston, Gorseinon and Kidwelly Fire Stations were called to an incident on Station Road in Llanelli.
Crews responded to a fire within a three-storey, mid-terrace property. All persons were out of the property and accounted for, the fire was in the property’s attic space. Crews utilised four breathing apparatus sets, one hose reel jet, thermal imaging cameras and a turntable appliance for lighting and thermal scanning to extinguish the fire. After extinguishing the fire, crews continued to dampen down and monitor adjoining properties for fire spread.
Crews left the scene at 12.23am on Tuesday, December 10th.
