On Thursday, 30th July Pembroke Dock Fire Station held its Open Day in which the public could visit the station and get involved with a day full of activities.
There was a wide variety of entertainment which included a visit from Dre Twt – Children’s role play centre, dunking station, DJ, raffle, cakes stall, the opportunity to meet our friendly Service mascot Sbarc and much more.
Over the course of the day, the station’s crew held live demonstrations, these included a Road Traffic Collision (RTC) scenario and Breathing Apparatus (BA) Drill in which the crew rescued Sbarc from a smoke-filled boiler room, both keep the crowd captivated throughout.
The Open Day was full of fun and proved to be a huge success, raising a whopping £2052.12 all in aid of The Fire Fighters Charity.
We would like to thank everyone who got involved and supported the day.
