“We’re excited to start recruitment for another cohort of Wholetime Firefighters this year. The role of a Wholetime Firefighter goes far beyond tackling fires, road traffic collisions and water rescues. The role of modern-day firefighters plays a crucial part in educating the public and working to prevent risks to life and the environment. We encourage people from a wide variety of backgrounds to apply, emphasising the diverse skill set needed for this challenging yet rewarding career. This recruitment drive is an essential step in making sure that we have the skilled and committed individuals needed to respond to emergencies and make Mid and West Wales a safe place to live, work and travel.”
The recruitment window will be open on Monday, January 20th at 9am and will remain open until 12pm on Monday, January 27th.
