On Wednesday, February 5th 2025, Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Service and North Wales Fire and Rescue Service published their final reports of a jointly commissioned Independent Cultural Review, conducted by Crest Advisory.

Incident: Barn Fire in Oswestry
On Saturday, March 8th, the Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Service crews from Llanfyllin, Welshpool and Llanfair Caereinion Fire Stations responded to a barn fire near Pen-y-Bont in Oswestry.
