Events
Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Service has a busy calendar of community engagement events throughout the year.
Date: Saturday, May 16th
Time: 10am until 3pm, live demonstration at 10.30am
Location: Newtown Fire Station, Llanidloes Road, Newtown, Powys, SY16 1HF
Parking: Newtown Evangelical Church, Llanidloes Road, Newtown SY16 1HL (please note there will be no parking available at the Fire Station)
Following several significant collisions on Powys roads and to highlight road safety awareness, Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Service will be holding a road traffic collision demonstration at Newtown Fire Station on Saturday, May 16th.
Between 10am and 3pm, members of the local community are invited to visit the Fire Station and engage with a variety of emergency services and partners, including Dyfed-Powys Police and the Welsh Ambulance Service, to learn more about driving and road safety initiatives.
The live demonstration will begin at 10.30am. Refreshments will be available courtesy of the Rapid Relief Team.

Car Washes
Does your car need a clean? We're here to help! For a charitable donation only, we will get your car gleaming at one of our Car Washes. Money raised will go towards the Fire Fighters Charity and other local charities chosen by the designated Fire Station.
