Since Friday, 7 August, crews from Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Service and South Wales Fire and Rescue Service have been responding to a significant wildfire at Llangynidr Reservoir near Ebbw Vale.

Firefighters and Coastguard Collaborate for Beach Rescue Training Exercise
Crews from Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Service's Llanelli, Kidwelly and Pont-iets Fire Stations recently joined Burry Port Coastguard at Pembrey Beach for a specialist rescue training exercise focused on rescuing casualties trapped in sand.
