Fatal 5 Road Safety Event Held at Newtown Fire Station
Following several significant collisions on Powys roads and to highlight Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Service’s ongoing road safety awareness campaign, a road traffic collision demonstration was held at Newtown Fire Station on Saturday, May 16th.

Care Home Fire Safety ‘Connect For’ Event

National Fire Chiefs Council (NFCC) Issue Water Safety Warning
With continuing hot weather over the half term holidays, the National Fire Chiefs Council (NFCC) is issuing an urgent call for parents and carers to speak to young people about the dangers of entering unsupervised open water. The warning comes after four confirmed drownings of teenagers in inland water over the bank holiday weekend.

Dog Rescued in Pembroke Dock After Multi Agency Response
On Thursday, May 21st, the Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Service crews from Pembroke Dock and Haverfordwest Fire Stations were mobilised to an incident near the Cleddau Bridge Business Park in Pembroke Dock.
