This Spring, Firefighter Bryn Davies of Pontardawe Fire Station will be taking on the incredible challenge of cycling to every Fire Station in Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Service.
The total distance of his journey is just under 1200km which includes over 16000 metres of elevation. Bryn is hoping to complete the journey within 4 days and will be raising important funds for the Fire Fighters Charity.
“I’m taking part in a charity bike ride to support the Fire Fighters Charity, which plays a crucial role in helping our Firefighters with physical and mental health support. I want to play my part to help the charity and therefore, I am doing a challenge to cycle to every Fire Station within Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Service.”
The Fire Fighters Charity provides specialist lifelong support for serving and retired members of the UK’s Fire Services community, and their families. If you would like to contribute, you can visit Bryn’s Go Fund Me page. You can also track the route he will be taking through Mid and West Wales using Strava.
We wish you all the best Bryn!
